Welcoming a New Little Life
There is something incredibly special about reconnecting with past clients as their story continues to unfold. Two years ago, I had the honor of photographing Haley and Braden’s engagement and wedding, and now I was invited back to document one of the most meaningful milestones yet — the arrival of their beautiful baby girl.
Sessions like this always remind me why I love what I do. Being able to walk alongside couples as their lives grow and change is such a gift. Seeing Haley and Braden step into this new season of parenthood was incredibly sweet, and it was an honor to capture these first memories with their little one.
A Simple and Timeless Studio Newborn Session
For their newborn photos, we chose a studio setting with a clean, minimal backdrop. The simplicity of the space allowed the focus to stay exactly where it belonged — on their baby girl and the quiet, tender moments they shared together as a new family.
Studio newborn sessions create such a timeless look. Without distractions in the background, every little detail stands out: tiny fingers wrapped around mom’s hand, the gentle way parents look at their baby, and the peaceful moments of snuggles that define those early days.
Haley and Braden were so natural together with their daughter. There were so many sweet moments throughout the session — soft laughter, quiet cuddles, and the kind of calm joy that fills the room when a family welcomes their first child.

Photographing Haley and Braden again felt incredibly meaningful. From their engagement session, to their wedding day, and now welcoming their baby girl — it’s such a joy to see their story continue to grow.
One of the most rewarding parts of being a photographer is building relationships with couples and getting to reconnect as they reach new milestones in life. Watching their journey unfold over the years is something I never take for granted.
